bedside tables

I have jsu got a new bed. It's HUUUUUGE. Super King Size. Has a big leather headboard. My bedside tables look rubbish now and need to replace them. They need to go with dark chocolate brown headboard, be quite slimline, have a drawer at least to hold crappy bits and hold a lamp and telephone and alarm clock.

Seen anything that might work??????

No idea, but v envious of your super kingsized leather bed

Thomcat · 10/08/2006 14:00

After sleeping in a crappy ikea bed/mattress for last 10 years it's absolute bliss. I haven't woken up once during the night since sleeping in it. Cost a fortune but worth every penny so far.
Now just need to re-do the whole bedroom!
ERvery time we walk in D and I laugh as the whole room is basically just a bed!

My idea of heaven, a room which is a bed!

When kids are older and I'm earning fulltime, I'm determined to get one of those Tempur memory foam mattresses for about £1,700. And a super king sized bed!

Sorry for wasting your time not answering your original Q

Thomcat · 10/08/2006 14:20

You're not wasting my time mate, it's nice just to chat.

Moine didn't cost £1,700, but not too far off and has that memory foam thing gpoimg on. It's bloody bliss. Can't believe I've been without it in my life for so long. I can get 3 pillow lengthways, easily, along the bed. Looking forward to having my girls in bed with me on Saturday morning

My Mum has a superking bed and it is enormous. DH and I stayed over a few months ago and it felt so weird not to have elbows/buttocks jutting out at each other.

NomDePlume · 11/08/2006 09:36

She has fitted furniture, so not really v helpful post. Sorry
