cos the amazon review says the car gets stuck at the top, so there is no point buying one, cos ds won't be able to play with it on his own.

Does yours get stuck?

bumping this cos interested - and how does child get it to top of door in first place?

There is a lift of some description to hoist the cars up. No experience but ds fancies it !

Lizs, Yes, the review on amazon says the lift gets the car to the top, but then the car gets stuck, so an adult needs to reach up and release it. Most unsatisfactory.

To be honest we've had a couple of Hotwheels sets before, and I found them deeply disappointing. The TV ads promise much more than the toys deliver, so I'll probably dump this idea as a birthday present, unless someone posts on here that it's great.

Searching for birthday pressies is really getting to me.
