Title says it all! Am I right in thinking they're meant to have a much lower tog rating than adults, ie 4tog?

I think DS's is something like that. He's in a junior bed so we bought a cotbed sized one.

Ds's is 4 tog. At the moment he's just under the cover though or a sheet. I think they do stay warmer than us. 4 tog seemed to be fine in the winter. you can always add extra layers of pyjamas if it's really cold - less likely to come off! DS is in an extendable bed, but we bought a single duvet, at the moment we put it on sideways and it seems fine.

Thanks both.

CM - mind if I ask which extendable bed you have, we're considering buying one of these?

hi, we have the Ikea brown one (Diktat range or something like that?). We've only had it a few weeks, but it seems v. sturdy, and as his room is q. small, it doesn't dwarf it as it's got quite a lot of extending left to do! And it wasn't expensive either, the bed and mattress and fitted sheets was about £120.

Thanks again, will investigate
