Car seat for the middle seat of an Audi A6

Hi,
We're getting an Isofix carseat (the Britax one) to use in our A6, but as our other car doesn't have Isofix points, and we need two to be able to cope with the logistics of drop off-pick up at nursery, we need another. This one doesn't need to be Isofix, but we do want it though to be able to go into the middle of the back seat of the A6 though. Unfortunately the Britax one is too wide - it will fit with the seatbelt without any problems (Isofix points only on the outer seats) but when it is fitted no-one can sit in the outer seats because the seat belt catches are hidden under the carseat. As the reason that we want to put it in the middle is that my PIL can sit in those seats when we all go on holiday together, that is a problem.

Does anyone know of a narrow car seat (9 months+) that will fit into the middle of the back of an Audi A6?

Thanks!

Contact Audi and see if they have any recommendations.

Failing that measure the distance between the seat buckles and then go with tape measure to measure car seat bases, Mothercare, John Lewis, Halfords, Toys r us.

You don't say how old your child is and whether a booster with a back would be suitable [4y+].

Thanks MatNanPlus. I think that contacting Audi may have to be the way to go. I tried looking around Mothercare and all the models in there seemed too wide. The staff couldn't give me any suggestions either.

My dd is 14 months now, but she has only just hit the 20lb mark, so we have a little way to go - she can stay in the first stage car seat for a little while longer if we need a second seat.
