Hi all
I'me looking for a few little wardrobes, was wanting white, and went to M.F.I this morning. 2 lovely ones for 250 each in the sale. Next door is Argos and i peeked there too and there are 2 pink ones available today (i like that as i'm SO impatient) but they look kind of flimsy. They are only 60 pounds each and just standard. They appeal to me as the dd's could do them up with stickers, paint, whatever they wanted really for that price.
But i don't want them falling to bits in a week and i only saw a picture in the catalogue.

SO, any info?

We got the baby set from argos three years ago which was wardrobe, chest of draws and cotbed...now on 2nd child and will be used for the third in jan. Only cost us £300 for the whole lot.

We bought a chest of drawers, cupboard with a nappy changing thing to go on top, and wardrobe from Argos when DD was born.

Still going strong in DS's room now - nearly 6 years later.

Not pink though - ours were pine.

we have those for our three daughters, and the blue ones for the boys.

have stood up to a year of wear and tear so far, and we love them, as do the kiddies.

only problem I have, and it would be solved by not pushing so much in, is that the drawers tend to bow at the bottom. but then, less clothing in said drawers would solve the issue

Don't buy anything from MFI
We ordered a bed from there for DS1 and it took nearly 4 months to come - the customer "service" was appalling.
I would go for Argos too.

plus......we have always got from argos, and we have always liked the furniture. we only got them all new last year because we finally had some money and time to decorate their rooms each and so they had new wardrobes.

and tis only the girls drawers that bend....I am still the one putting the clothes in the boys wardrobes/drawers, so am guessing that it is the girls heavy pushing that does it (when they are hiding the clothes from mummy)....!

A friend gave us the blue version of that range for Ds's room and it's been fantastic, very sturdy I thought.

Oh that is brilliant.
Thanks all

That means i can sort it all out tonight

Isn't Mumsnet the buisness?

Am wondering whether to get this with a wardrobe at the other side like one big unit now

Just thought i'd say, i put them both up today and they are fab!
I am going to personalise them tomorrow and write the dd's names on and draw some flowers on for her to colour in. That's the beauty of the price too, i don't feel i have to be precious!
