Hi,
Can anyone offer any advice on the above. Im thinking of getting one as I like the idea of the pushchair being forward or rear facing.
Has anyone else got one and if so are they any good.
Thanks

A friend gave me her old M&P pushchair and it was RUBBISH!! The wheels bearings wore out really quickly, it was a sod to turn corners / go up kerbs / over bumps, the shopping basket underneath was so flimsy it dragged on the ground as soon as I put anything in it (and soon got a huge hole in) and the cosy toes didn't fasten to the back of the seat so as soon as I put ds in it would slide down to drag on the pavement. It was so annoying I used to curse it regularly and loudly. Admittedly this model must be 4 years old but when I was looking to replace it the more modern ones didn't seem much better - and they're really expensive.
I bought the Mothercare Urban Detour in the end and it's the best thing ever - there's a review of it on Mumsnet - can't recommend it enough.

I have the M&P Ultima 3 in 1, with the MPX chasis which I think has is more or less the same as the converse - its been great. The wheels are big enough to get up and down kerbs with no trouble, the shopping basket is great - accessible from front and back and never collapsed. True, the cosy toes doesn't fasten to the seat, but can't say its ever fallen out because DS is fastened in inside it. I can turn it with one hand and its light and lovely to push. We've had it nearly two years now and never had any problems at all. HTH.

We have an MPX, too, and it's been great. I really liked having a baby car seat that could slot onto the frame easily (could get dd out of the car without waking her up). She has been in the full-size chair for a long time now and it's well-padded and comfortable for her and easy to push for me. I strongly recommend it.
