yes i know this is incredicbly lazy of me but i would like some inspiration-

dd1 is very arty (and therefore has mucho art equipment); likes fairies and princesses but doesn't have much access to adverts so is not aware too much of barbie/bratz/pollypocket etc so i'd like to avoid brand stuff if poss (as most is crap and a rip-off IME); loves role play and dressing up... er...

she loves playing shops and schools with her toys... i've asked her what she'd like but she's been fairly vague up to now so i guess she's open to ideas. as am i!

oh blimey! i hope my dd knows i'm far too mean to get her a real live pet! i know what a blinking nuisance it was for my parents when i went on and on about a pet (and then got one... and then ignored it for 4 years )

i was maybe thinking about a trip to the theatre for her, but it costs an arm and a leg for chitty chitty bang bang or something like that. we're very skint at the moment and she's already having a party. i've no prblem with 2nd hand/ebay etc, but have just run out of ideas. what does your dd like (apart from rabbits?!)

I got dd a scooter as her main pressie. She also is starting to enjoy board games, and Monopoly Jr was/is a firm favourite.
