I have an interview with BeneFit (woo hoooooooo and as part of the preparation for my try out I have been asked to find out about four products; Dr Feelgood, You Rebel, High Beam and BeneTint. Have any of you tried these (or any other) products? I LOVE Dr Feelgood, but haven't tried the others. Am off to the counter to have a quick scout tomorrow, but I'd be grateful of any help you could give me x

I use Dr Feelgood - it removes all shine so you can use it as you would powder. It works well on bare skin or over foundation.

Love benefit stuff!

MrsBadger · 03/08/2006 14:18

dinosaur - go to Debenhams when they do late night opening (usually Thurs) as all the makeup women go home and just leave the Debenhams' own staff on the cashdesks, so you can rummage through the makeup and try stuff without anyone glaring at you or breathing down your neck.

And LemonAid is different to Touche Éclat in that it's for eyelids rather than under-eye bags, but has same effect of making one look perkier and less haggard. Is also a lot more difficult to apply wrong and look like a reverse panda (my usual trick with Touche Éclat-type stuff)

MrsBadcrumble · 03/08/2006 16:59

I forgot, I've got their pressed powder for reddish skins, and it's fabulous.
Come to think of it, half my make-up bag is Benefit, shame I hardly ever wear make-up....
MrsB I agree about adding Highbeam to tinted moisturiser, that always makes me look really alive. Hey in place of your really expensive lip-balm, when it runs out, try Lansinoh nipple cream. It's the best lip balm I've ever tried (and I've tried a lot...)

mazzystar · 03/08/2006 17:03

Love Benetint. So useful. On my third pot.
Had some Dr Feelgood, but doesn't seem to work for me.
Am too pale for you rebel, comes out too strongly on my skin, and don;t really do highlighter.
Love all the packaging.

My fave products are Ooh La Lift and Dandelion, still buy these now I and a skint SAHM. Very good gifts for new mothers I reckon.

SminkoPinko · 03/08/2006 17:08

@ reverse panda, MrsBadger.

LaDiDaDi · 04/08/2006 17:10

Hoola and Dandelion poweders are fantastic, I use them in varying amounts almost every day and they last for ever and ever.

Hollyboo · 04/08/2006 17:40

Do BeneFit do any moisturisers? One that gets rid of my shiny T Zone but doesn't dry out the rest of my face??

vitomum · 04/08/2006 17:43

Hollyboo, Dr Feelgood would be perfect for that. apply after your normal moisturiser.

WaitingForGodKnows · 04/08/2006 17:54

Went out today and bought Dr Feelgood and High Beam. I am BeneFit girl

Hollyboo · 04/08/2006 22:16

Vitomum what's Dr Feelgood?

Tatties · 04/08/2006 22:26

I never got the hang of Dr Feelgood.

vitomum · 04/08/2006 22:26

It's like a solid balm which comes in a tin and is applied with a sponge. You can wear it over, under or without make-up.

Hollyboo · 04/08/2006 22:57

Hmmm I might take a trip to boots over the weekend. I'll have to look my best though, those girls on the Benefit counter always look lovely.

accessorizequeen · 05/08/2006 20:38

The stuff for reddish skins is Get Even and it is the bees knees. Wish I could afford some more right now. One of their staff grabbed me in boots 18 months ago and made me over, best makeover I ever had, I looked & felt fab. Aside from Get Even, have used the benetint lip balm which is really gorgeous & soft and Lyin Eyes the under-eye concealer which is way better than Touche Eclat IMHO! They do do a moisturiser, it's called Dear John & quite rich, one of the best I've ever owned (waiting to afford some more as DP used up the rest of the tub). Wish I could buy entire range!

mrsdarcy · 05/08/2006 21:09

I love Dandelion and High Brow.

How do you apply BeneTint? I messed around with it in Boots, dropped it, ruined the floor and have been scared of it ever since . I like the sound of the wholesome milkmaid look though.

paulinka · 20/08/2006 18:31

I also have been out and bough Dr Feelgood, Dandelion ans Benetint and a Fake it tarter kit. I am a Benefit girl too!

I have just realised what a bargain I got in Boots after Christmas. I had a look at the website mentioned by HelloMama and saw my Lana make-up bag, for $34 and I which I got for £2 as it didn't have a label and no-one knew how much it was supposed to be.

HinnyPet · 07/08/2010 14:02

Waaay late in the day, (last post was in 08!) but I just bought Dr Feelgood and I'm not sure how to use it?
