I have a soon-to-be seven year old who will be celebrating his birthday at the seaside - would one of these make a good present?

Just to add my DS had one for his 8th birthday and they are great, especially for taking to the park.

Weve got the older one but looking at info there the junior one has foam rockets which sound better.Ours has plastic ones which have split where they got trodden on!
Also have them here With spare rockets which im planning to buy soon.

Thanks QB. I wonder if the junior one is a bit of a damp squib?

My son was given a stomp rocket (with plastic rockets)when he was five. He found it really exiting and still loves it - now 7. It was such a good product that we bought a couple for his cousins birthdays - they loved it too.

Fab present. They are great. I can imagine it might be a bit windy for them at the seaside, though?

Hmm, hadn't thought of that. I'm still interested in getting one though - thanks all!
