I have some money left over from my birthday, and was thinking about getting a couple of ds games with it - yes I know just a big kid etc etc but dh got me a ds for christmas and I do like it I've been addicted to the urbz, although I'm now rather stuck (nearish the end) and I got a nintendogs game with it which I can't stand.

My friend has tetris which I love but I can play against her whenever she's here. I was thinking that dr kawashimas brain training game as I love sudokus and stuff, but I think tetris and that would be too much in the way of 'thinking' games....

dh reckons the new super mario is meant to be fab, anyone else have any opinions?

I love zoo keeper - it's a puzzle game so if you like tetris you should enjoy it. Music to it is very addictive though.

i like the look of the brain training thing, but my brain is too busy having a lie down at the moment.

there is sims 2 which i quite fancy.
Also think super mario is supposed to be good.

Get them on ebay as will be at least tenner cheaper than shops for brand new.

nemo - I've been shopping around and I can find tetris for 18.99, super mario for 19.99 and dr kawashima for 16.99 ... can't see them much cheaper on ebay tbh.

I'm wondering (as I'm quite a girly girl) if the princess peach game would be better than super mario or if it's just going to be a more rubbishy spin off

brain training and trauma centre.

I'm not sure if they're actually any good though, they're just the only ones I can play

any thoughts from the daytime crowd?

I bought myself a DS a while back, and my faves are;
Phoenix Wright (you are a lawyer and have to grill people to get to the next case- very addictive)
Mario Kart - classic game if you like that kinda thing ! Its by far the most played my me and DH in the evenings
Hope you find something nice !!

lunavix · 02/08/2006 21:13

I'm thinking mario kart maybe...

wondering if sims 2 is worth it as I love the urbz, but someone said it's not as good, more just like classic sims.

I've borrowed the new super mario from a friend and it's okay, dh is far more interested though...

We have Supermario and its really good, I am not really into the Mario games usually but this one is pretty good.

I also love Frogger and have managed to get right to the end on that - which is definitely an accomplishment for me.

DP is always getting new ones as he gets bored once he completes them and trades them in for new ones - we are going to try the Zoo game next.

Madagascar is a good one too, I enjoyed that.
