Is there a 9mth to 6 or 12 yr car seat that reclines?

I need on of the lighterweight car seats that go from 9+ months (though it is for my 2 yera old) that have integral harness and convert into high back boosters for when they are older. But I can't see on e that reclines. Surely there must be one on the markt as I know that some hiback boosters recline.

He still sleeps in the car so I really want a reclining one. He is currently in a Britax Reinassance but we need a more lightweight seat to move from car to car.

The only one I can think of is the Britax Hi Liner but that doesn't have a integral harness. My 2.5 ds has one and it reclines just enough that his head stays back when he's asleep, rather than the 'broken neck' look he got in the Cruiser Plus that we used to have.

I'm racking my brains for one with a hraness but I can't think of one - we looked at loads when we were trying to find a better one for ds. The Hi-Liner was the only one that fitted in the back of our car.

Most of the lightweight convertible ones are cr*p safety-wise though. Unless your dd is over 15kg (in which case a HiLiner or Maxi Cosi Rodi using the adult belt is suitable) your choice is very limited and these don't truly recline. The new Britax Evolva 123 did ok in recent tests and I think can recline a bit, not sure of how lightweight it is. Considering it for dd who is almost 5 ! Perhaps you'd just be better off buying a second stage 2 seat - there are lots of offers on atm.

Yes, I found the Evolva 123 after posting this. I think it looks just what we are after. I can't find a weight for it anywhere though so I think I will pop into a John Lewis to lift one before buying anywhere. Boots have them at 20% off at the moment.
