Birthday present for 5 year old

Going to my husband's cousin's birthday party on Sunday - he will be 5 (rest assured my husband is significantly older than that). Any ideas for a present he would love, costing about £10-15? He is quite a energetic, rough and tumble sort of boy. Going shopping Thursday morning.
Thanks! My children are 3 and 11months so cannot think forward to age 5 for presents.

One of my boys' favourite toys is a giant ball. Quite robust, you can either roll it around, sit on it, roll yourself over it, etc. Adults can too! My 5 yo is into Lego and such like, but that might be because his older brothers have plenty around.

you cant go wrong with a ball for a boy

elc have inflatable rugby posts Mine fancy and a foam rugby ball , or any kind of action hero - action man, turtle etc
Or lego bionicles are very popular..

do not give books or clothes, acompany preesent with Pic anc mix and you will be IN!!

My suggestions would be :
A football goal
Football and accessories set - you can get these in sport shops like JJB and include a back pack, mini ball, some cones etc.
A rugby ball
Many of the sports shops do mini footballs and rugby balls in an easy grip rubber - these seem to be a great favourite (and easier to take with you on a day out)
Outdoor play stuff - cricket set, boules, mini tennis set - stuff to take to the park or beach in the summer.
Maybe an England top ready for Euro 2004 - Sports Soccer tend to do loads at great prices - the polo type shirts are nice.

I'm with MrsC on that one - great idea. Can't go wrong with ELC - and they always exchange !!
