Car seat help!!

My son is 3 years old and weighs 16kg, he's quite tall for his age. He's getting too big for his car seat but the booster seats with the back say 4-12 years. Does anyone have any advice on what I can do?! :)

i think if he is actually too tall and heavy for a group 1 seat, move on to the group 2 (high backed booster). The age ranges are approximate and based on average height and weights. If your child is bigger or smaller than average you adjust accordingly.

They're based on weight, not age.
I bought a kiddy guardian pro 2, which is suitable from 9kg to 12 years.
So it can be adjusted to fit a tall child (my son is nearly 3 and 103cm tall)

Our 3yr old went happily into a Concord X-bag, which has some hydraulic rinkydink tHat allows you to expand and contract the frame. It also has isofix connectors, so pretty stable for a child at the smaller end of the seat weight range...
