Carpet Cleaner recommendation needed - Coffee stain removal

I have had coffee spilt on my grey/blue lounge carpet and it was a while before I realised it was there hence it is now dried in. Any recommendations for something to clean it ?

stain slayer shifts most things...problem is you have to spray it on and then rinse it clean with water - not sure how that would work on a carpet....

Dreft mixed in a squirty bottle with some water, spray it on, rub it in with your fingers and wait to dry before hoovering.

God girlies how many times do I have to tell you - washing powder and fairy liquid shifts anything - also try Vanish Powershot - got a whole bottle fo red wine off of my pale biscuit (ha ha - what a crap colour description - I am turning into Lawrence LB!! ) carpet.

Do you have a steamer - that with a solution of the washing powder and fairy works the best.

Before you use anything chemical try wetting it throughly (cold water) and blotting with a clean tea-towel, and if that shifts it a bit, repeat until no more comes out. It works with fresh coffee anyway. Good luck!
