Moby, hug-a-bub, storn-german-thingy, calin bleu, or could the didymos possibly be worth £70????? Any other wrap suggestions welcome, been fannying around on this for a week now.

i am as confused as you about these, have just bought one from freedom slings on ebay £11 (murron pouch), but looked on there site freedomslings.co.uk and it was very helpful. figured that for £11 if it didn't suit could pass it on to someone else!

you can rent a sling from www.bigmamaslings.co.uk a sort of try before you buy thing. if you have never used a sling before, i would recommend getting the simplest (pouch sling) to experiment with early days then if you become an addict, you can explore the more difficult ones.

I used a freedom sling too - fantastic!

Have been making and using ring slings for ages now, but want something that's easier on my shoulders, so it's definately a wrap that I need. Money is a bit tight, so I don't want to make a mistake, would also prefer not to have to bother renting different ones, hence the hope that someone out there has already tried them for me

my best mate who is a sling addict swears by the storchy. its her favorite out of 11 slings and carriers. not counting the ones she sold off on ebay already.

have you heard of fatfingers.com? you type in the thing you want to bid on on ebay and a host of variations of misspell goes into ebay and searches for what you want. the plan behind it that things that get misspelled do not attract many bids thereby you pick up something on the cheap. its worked for me in the past. enter a couple wrap slings and see what happens.

I have had a moby and a hug-a-bub. Both really similar and I think the Moby was alot cheaper than the hug-a-bub. I really recommend them both.

DD2 lived in her Coorie pouch from brightspark. Made right here in Scotland!

She's WAY, WAY too heavy for me to carry in a sling now - too much metal in my right knee.

Thanks everyone....looks like I'm going for the Moby unless anyone convinces me otherwise in the time it takes me to find my credit card
