Hi I have a tommee tippee electric steraliser and it says to descale regularly, was just wondering if use a regular steraliser like same one for a kettle? If so how do u do it because it doesn't have instructions on the back for steralisers. So bit confused and don't want to do it wrong tia

You can buy stuff specifically for sterilisers e.g in boots. There are methods for using vinegar too but you'd have to google for the amounts.

This is going back a few years but IIRC we used sachets of whatever it was (bicarb?) from the chemists. Mixed it with water and poured into the steriliser and switched it on for a cycle.

Do you have the steriliser instructions? They'll be on the manufacturers website if you're stuck.

I've never descaled a kettle. [Slattern].
