we're thinking of what to buy ds for his 1st birthday, along the lines of this . does anyone have one and if so could you tell me what you think of it? it does seem to be a good price for the many different combinations you can get out of it. TIA.

I had something like that for dd, and tbh I found it a faff to mess around with. For that price, you could buy the different combinations seperately! We got dt2 this one for his birthday and he loves it. He also has this from family, and we got a cheap plastic rocker that seats 1-3 children from toysrus for £10!

thank you both for your replies - kelly1978 I know we could probably get the same things separately but I suppose I was also considering how much space would be taken up. I love that battery powered quad bike though, and i'm surprised at its price - would have put it at more than that.

thanks again for your comments.

I guessed you were thinking of space - that's why I originally bought one for dd1. I've def come to the conclusion though that these multiuse things never do the job as well as individual things.
I was amazed by the quad bike too, when we first found it. It doesn't go very fast though, and the child has to hold onto the button, so it is very safe, I'd highly recomend it!

thanks both. i'll probably get a cheap rocker & the quad bike (they're out of stock i noticed, i've asked for an email when they come back in - just hope it's in time for his birthday)
