I've seen loads of them in the past and they were all really cheap. I've been looking now and they all seem so expensive.

Has anyone seen them anywhere?

The ones that look like a bundle of sticks with christmas lights threaded through ?

YellowFeathers · 22/07/2006 08:30

Yes, thats the one or anything slightly similar.

Am wanting 2 really.

they have one in the Next Directory, but you have to put it in a vase or something. £22.99 - 993 101 G30 if you want to look it up.

NomDePlume · 22/07/2006 08:31

what's the cheapest price you've found them at ?

YellowFeathers · 22/07/2006 08:32

I'll see if its in the sale as they've changed the site to Adobe so you can't see the pics.

I'll check it out though, thanks

I've seen some in TK Maxx for £19.99 each but I didn't get them as they were quite heavy and typically we don't have a store near us.
They do have the same ones on Ebay but the seller wants £10 postage!

They haven't changed the site to adobe, we're just getting the listings preview screen because the site has crashed (too much traffic I guess). When I went on as a VIP (I got a preview shop on Thurs) it was the normal sale set up.

misdee · 22/07/2006 08:34

go to the woods, get loads of twigs, threaqd lights round them.

YellowFeathers · 22/07/2006 08:34

What page number is it on the directory NDP?

OP posts:
NomDePlume · 22/07/2006 08:35

Cheeky sods ! Although I suppose if they are heavy, they may well cost that much to package up and send securely.

YellowFeathers · 22/07/2006 08:36

Seriously, I might do that Misdee.

Do you know, you couldn't move for them a while back and the minute I bloomin want one I can't find them!

OP posts:
NomDePlume · 22/07/2006 08:37

It's in the summer update one, p463

misdee · 22/07/2006 08:37

my cousin bought one a couple of years back, i laughed and said i could make one a lot cheaper lol

NomDePlume · 22/07/2006 08:38

How odd, for some reason they are only £14.99 in the normal directory. Cat no 946 983 X37, p886

YellowFeathers · 22/07/2006 08:43

Sod in arse!

Have trawled through the list but can't find the first code.
Will check that other one thanks NDP.

Failng that, the dog and I are off for a walk to the woods and then a trawl through the loft for the xmas fairy lights

OP posts:
YellowFeathers · 22/07/2006 08:44

or just call my mum and send her to Next

OP posts:
YellowFeathers · 22/07/2006 08:47

Nope other one isn't there either.

OP posts:
YellowFeathers · 22/07/2006 09:32

Well I've got onto the site and can see the pics now but I can't see the lights on there.

Typical!

OP posts:
smurfgirl · 22/07/2006 10:57

these?

darker

YellowFeathers · 22/07/2006 10:59

Yeah I like them but am also a big tight bum so don't really want to have to pay £40 for 2.

Thats the thing I want though, the darker ones.

fairydust · 22/07/2006 11:06

In our old house i got some twigs for £4.99 from ikea and a set of £1.99 xmas lights and threaded them through and they looked just as good as the others.

biglips · 22/07/2006 11:06

i would go by what misdee had said as have a go yourself as its free and you might never know yours might be better than the expensive stuff

YellowFeathers · 22/07/2006 11:09

Bargain Fairydust!

Just have to get dh to Ikea

OP posts:
poisson · 22/07/2006 11:09
