Need to get dd (16 months) some wellies v. quickly. I've just bought a new pair of shoes so know her size. Don't want to pay shoe shop prices for a pair of wellies though! And would much prefer plain colours - no patterns or endorsements if poss. Have tried lots of places but no joy - please help!

Have you tried mothercare - I didn't get them on line but bot dd some for £5.

Helsbels · 01/03/2004 16:48

you could try php (perfectly happy people) they have lots of bits and bobs. We have a Bacons shoes near us and Jonathan James and they are both really cheap (about £3)

Asda do plain wellies for £2, Woolies also cheap. Not sure of on-line though.

lalaa,it's me your sister-in-law ! got your nephew a pair of plain red ones from EITHER the Great Little Trading co. or The Children's Company mail order (sorry, can't remember which)-
Alternatively Aigle do costly French ones which you might get online from www.wildlifeonline.com (our cousin's dd wears them !)

binker · 01/03/2004 18:19

forget the Aigle ones, I think it's a bit silly to pay as much as they'd cost for something that she'd probably grow out of v fast !!

BadHair · 01/03/2004 18:29

Yup, Clayhead's right, Asda and Woolies do super-cheap wellies that last for ages.
