How the hell do you pop it down again!!!!!????

I have read and re-read the instructions and both DH and I have tusselled with it getting all hot and flustered and the blasted thing just will not 'pop' back down into the little bag. There must be a knack. Anyone?

yes, got one last year. threw bag away and just fold and store flat.

after spending ages trying to get it back in the bag i decided life was to short.

probally not the answer you were lookimg for, but it has saved hours of frustration.

you are right - life is too short - but I bought is specially for the beach on holiday, if I cant pop it back into its bag its been a waste of money

Hi poppiesinaline

Sorry to dash your hopes but I have had an identical experience with our tent. It is now a permanent fixture in DS's room for that very reason. I'll keep checking this thread though!

We have just spent 2 weeks in Portugal struggling with ours, hating the smugs with other brands which seemed to almost put themselves back in to the bags. Every time without fail it refused to fold in to anything other than an ovoid which took both of us to stuff in to the bag. BUT whenever i folded it with no-one to see it went peacefully, leading me to draw the conclusion that they are designed to p* us off. And don't get me started on the bloody side panels. . .

A friend of ours visited this afternoon (single male with no children). When he had finished his coffee I told him I had a challenge for him and handed him the instructions and pointed to the tent in the garden. Thinking - this will be fun to watch.

He studied the instructions and prompty folded it away in 3 seconds flat I got him to show me how he did it and managed to do it (not with so much ease though ) and now it is safely away in its little bag, where it will stay until our holiday.

So, if you are sitting on a beach in Wales and see someone getting very hot and flustered trying to fold away an ELC sun tent - that'll be me

I can't get mine back in the bag either I've spent 2 weeks wrestling with it in France and Dh and I argued about it everyday

I've also lost the instructions, so I'm even worse off, I don't even hve a clue where to start. Any tips gratfully received, bloody thing

stand behind it and pull back the top so it meets the bottom then turn it up the other way so that the underneath of it faces up and then fold in the sides together (they will kind of tuck in under each other) and then fold in half the other way and 'twiddle' a bit.
