DD1 has a basic potty which she refuses to sit on. If i ask her to sit on the potty she goes to sit on dd2's Bumbo (lol),

Can you buy potties that look like bumbo seats?

Potty recomendations please, What potty did your LO's like?

Can you take her with you to choose one? She might then agree to sit on it. I think it's a very personal thing, and what works for one might not work for another, IYSWIM.

My dd had one with a lid that looked like a turtle. We ahd to buy an identical one to have at grandparents! Am thinking of buying a different one for ds though - don't think he has ever seen anyone using a potty and he thinks the turtle one is a toy. Also he is quite big for his age - anyone know of ones that would be suitable for a bigger child?

I like the chair potties but i dont want to pay loads for one is she wont use it.

KT, dd would love a turtle potty do you know where i can buy one?, she has a turtle sand pit and does'nt stop going on about turtles.

I think ours was given to me by someone whose children had not used it and no longer needed it. I got the one for the grandparents house in a department store (but this 7 yrs ago!)

This is the one we have but the website is American - don't know if there is a UK equivalent
