thinking of getting dd1 and dd2's school shoes ready for sept (already have their uniforms) is this a good bad idea?

I'm going to get dd some as soon as I can get her to come shopping with me,otherwise we end up trecking around in a panic a few days before school starts,she's 14 so her feet have finished growing though.
I'd probably still do it if she was younger as they sell out so bloody quickly.
