I recently ordered some stuff from la redoute which entitled me to a free bag/case, i sent back what i had ordered as i didn't like it but still have the bag. Does anyone know if they will ask for it back/charge me or whatever? Got another thing in the post saying order and get a free blanket/throw hmmmm

linzoid, my catalogue came yesterday ! I don't know the answer to your question but can I ask you something ? I had never seen their stuff before but on a trip to Lille before Xmas went into the Redoute shop and thought some of the stuff was quite good and very reasonable although you had to look through everything well as some of it looked a bit cheap and nasty..
I hope you don't mind me asking but did you send it back because you didn't like it or was it really bad quality. Not sure if i can be bothered ordering loads if it's all going to end up going back.

I had one outfit last summer that was bon Point from La Redoute
It was gorgeous, well made and fab outfit, just sold on ebay for over a fiver so well chuffed, best to sort through very much a case of you get what you pay for!

I use la redoute quite a lot as I think the stuff is more interesting than a lot of boys clothes in UK shops. No probs with quality though obviously the cheaper stuff is not as good quality as the more expensive branded labels. HTH

I have had a good look through and can probably see which stuff is going to be a bit dodgy esp if you go by the adage "you get what you pay for" .

I also thought the boys stuff looked nice elliot, will order some stuff for ds1 and ds2. Will possibly manage to find the odd item or two for myself while I'm looking

I order quite a lot from La Redoute. Mainly because as others have said, some stuff is very good while other stuff pretty cheap and nasty. I have got loads of free stuff from orders including a mini stereo system (very cheap and nasty but dh has it to listen to in the garage) coffee makers, luggage set and tons of throws! Quite often I have kept the freebie and sent back the order and nothing has been said (touch wood!) Once, the free gift was really rubbish. It was meant to be the 'gold prize' gift for our loyalty and it was a set of 2 appauling quality handkerchiefs - which we did send back as wanted to express out dislike of such a bad 'gold award, but kept the order! I even got a large box of Thorntons Continental chocs for Xmas, for being such a great customer. Thing is although we do order a lot, we don't really keep that much, but I still seem to be considered one of their 'best' customers. Can't complain, all the freebies should go down well at the car boot sale!

DM has a LaRedoute catalogue and she is always buying things for my ds twins and sometimes me too!

Recently she bought them two pairs, one red, one blue pair of baseball boots, at the very beginning of the children's section. I wasn't expecting much as they were £9 but they are lovely! Good soles, well made!

I always get stuff in their sales, much cheaper. Only stuff that did seem a bit cheap, was cheap, everything else I've got is really nice. Only trouble I have is sizes, dd is about 105cms, their sizes are 104 or 108 so i ordered 108, clothes absolutely massive but so nice I'm hoping they'll fit her before she grows up.
Offered lots of free gifts, but no chocs! I'm gonna order more if you get chocs...

Have to say I quite like the cheap stuff, if cheap is what you're after (e.g. job lot of t-shirts for nursery, not going to complain at that price if they're a little thin - I find them similar to other cheap brands like George)
I do find the constant marketing promotions irritating though.

last year they i bought of LR and i gave promotion code for 20% off and when the goods arrived there was beach bag. I thought how nice to send me freebee. But next month it happens to be the goods were full price on my statement so i called them. And girl said if i send the beach bag back they will do me 20% off. So i posted it out to them cause it was worth having discount than beach bag.
So i believe they may ask you to send the freebee back.
