I know this has been done before, but I've just done a search and can't find the threads. I need recommendations for a cheap ISP please. I'm with AOL at the moment.

I want dial-up anytime access, and email, and those are pretty much my only requirements, except the 'cheap' one

Thanks.

tiscali broadband 15.99 a month unlimited with free modem and set up its brilliant

Tissy · 29/02/2004 20:13

can I ask a question?

does unlimited access mean that you don't pay for your phone time? If not, I'm paying £11.75 a month with Demon- either a great bargain, or could do better depending on the answer to the question!

pupuce · 29/02/2004 20:21

Tissy - depends.... broadband is free tel. not the regular non-broadband where you need to add the phone time.

We're with tesco.net at the moment, £12.49 per month. I'm thinking of changing though because it has an annoying habit of disconnecting without any warning, or it can't find a site when I know I'm using the right address.

We looked at the tiscali offer but they don't support macs. My brother says that doesn't matter but then he's a techie & could probably get round it- if they sent us a start-up disc it wouldn't work.

Anyone else use an eMac?
