its rectangular in shape and has non pointy pins that retract.When you push your hand down on it,the pattern of your hand can be seen from the other side.

if I'm right about what your taking about, I've had one for years, got it as a kid
perspex bit on the front make shapes anstuff in it and it stays till you tip it out again??????

Mines called pinart and came from Argos(just ran upstairs to look on box!Found spider creeping up the wall!)
