Listening to baby's heartbeat? Or too dangerous?

I've just bought an Angel Sounds fetal heart monitor on eBay so that I can reassure myself in the panic moments I am having (10 weeks pregnant) that all is well.

Reading the instructions, and it says that although ultrasound has been used for 25 years that you shouldn't use it TOO OFTEN as they don't know the effects of it on the fetus. So now I'm worried. I was hoping that I would sit for hours with it on, just bonding, and now I am worried that I am going to cause harm.

I've searched for previous threads on this subject but can't find anything - does anyone know any more about this please?

It's a controversial issue but I wouldn't worry about occasional use

It won't be TOO long and you will be able to feel baby moving lots and lots - there will be LOTS of time for bonding

Glad you are feeling so positive about your little one, good luck x
