I need to change ny car fairly urgently in a budget & am looking at the above, - either a new zafira or used older verso.I have 3 children all in high back boosters.

Please could any owners give me their thoughts on living with these cars?

Tia

I really like my Verso but would advise to avoid the D4D Diesel engine as it's got issues.

I test drove a Zafira as it looked perfect on paper. It was like a tank and all the ones I looked at were TRASHED inside

So I bought a verso, and it's fab. Love it. Lots of room, proper seats in the back, never gone wrong, in 6 years

Highly recommend

3girlsunder3, you might want to have a look at our piece on used seven-seaters while you're doing your research - it includes the old-style Zafira (still on sale alongside the more modern Zafira Tourer) and the pre-facelifted Verso.

I've literally just bought a Verso, drove it home yesterday (not new, it's two years old). I am completely in love with it already. It's got plenty of space for 2+ kids and a large boot for all the clobber. It's the ideal halfway point between our old Golf and the tanks that I was looking at before (S-Max, Touran etc.) It's also got a five year warranty which means we don't need to worry about paying for anything that goes wrong for two more years, and doesn't need an MOT until 2015. Flippin great!

Our last 2 card have been Zafiras. Really like it and dh says it's nice to drive (I can't at the moment). Seems quite roomy inside - not sure about high-back boosters but we get 3 large children in the back no bother.

Inside of ours is pretty trashed, that's due to dh's habit of eating his lunch in the car, though!
