Ford Focus 55 Plate. Bonnet Won't Open!!

Hi.

Just Tried to open my Ford focus bonnet but it wont open!! Key goes in and moves freely but i cant hear it catching on the Lock at all. Am i missing a truco here? My screenwash is empty :(

I've heard this is a common problem with the Focus. Google 'Ford Focus Bonnet will not open'

Also, have you tried pushing down on the bonnet as you turn the key?
