2 left gloves

I brought myself some gloves from m&s at the end of the season last year, they may have even been in the sale. I have just got them out and realise that I have brought 2 left ones. What are my chances of swapping them for a pair if I took them back? Any shop assistants help me out?

M and s fine. I had this at new look once with a pair of shoes and the bastards wouldn't refund or exchange. Which was fine as they never got a penny of my money again. Their long term loss.

Thanks. Just phoned the store and they said they would consider it their mistake and gve me another pair.
