new hoover burning carpet..anyone else?

Thats it really..my new hoover has burnt parts of my carpet..I have spoken to manufacturer who is sending out someone to look at the hoover and my carpets..has this happenened to anyone else..did they get new carpets?

If its bad enough that you need a new carpet then you should probably get in touch with your own insurance company and they will liaise with the manufacturer.

Can you tell us what brand it is ?
