Something to put under "slip and slide" to make it more comfortable?????

We've got a slip'n'slide and the kids love it, but it's worn away the grass underneath.

can anyone suggest anything I could buy like thick mats to put underneath cos the ground is now hurting their bums when they go down it!

toys r us do the mats that go at the bottom of slides dont know if that would be any help?

Have you got a mat or a carpet offcut would that work? Sorry dont know what a slip'n'slide is!!

carpet offcut, definitely.
will still kill the grass as it won't get any light, but that's life.
