Which Mobile Phone

I'm getting a new one and wondered if anyone had any recommendations. I'm going for t-mobile.

I deviated from a trusty Nokia last July to a one of those pretty purple Samsung clam shells. Cute and girly but I'm going back to Nokia!

nokia have a well deserved reputation for being easy to use

siemens is a personal fav of mine, underrated IMO

samsung is crap user interface, all in the style.

moto used to be good, havent had one for a while.

Sony ericcson are difficult imo.

go for the finnish imo. Oh, and get umts if you can. Its marketed in UK as wireless broadband, or 3G, I think. Basically, its mobile internet. You should also be able to use the phone as a mobile modem, like a data card, so that you can surf from a laptop anywhere. Which is what Im doing right now

i've just got the nokia 6111 from t-mobile it was free on contract, its a lovely little slide up one that is sliver and pink (they also do it in silver and black)

i find nokias much easier to use, i really wanted a motorola v3 and a motorola slivr but went back to nokia as kept pressing wrong buttons on motorola and didn't feel as easy to use.

the new t-mobile flex contracts are good, i get £180 per month to spend whichever way i plese, calls, texts, email etc and it costs me £30 a month, but you could get cheaper contracts and just get less £

IMHO Sony Ericsson are way better than Nokias - before I got my last phone I'd had all Nokias with a brief flirtation with Moto. Just like the whole Mac/PC spat, SE phones are intuitive and feature-packed, Nokias have a bigger market share so people are more used to them and they get what the others have got. Coincidentally I just got the latest SE yesterday with an amazing camera, 3G and a fistful of other features and it's the business.

great read...i am getting a new phone tomorrow a silly one with leaves and a jewel.....had no idea what i was getting but plumped for nokia cos thats what i knew ...hope i like it!
