"All Day" protection suncream - does it work?

I've just seen the adverts for the Piz Buin "All Day" suncream. Has anyone tried it, and does it really work? Would be good for me as I could get DH to put the cream on (the places I can't reach!) in the morning before he leaves for work, then I don't have to worry about covering up/getting sunburned through the day.

The small print on the ad said "all day" is 6 hours, but not between 11 and 3 or something similar, so not really all day at all...

Yes, it does IME. I use the Piz Buin one for the boys for school and days out. Also used it in portugal last year although for everyday holiday use would stick to a "normal" one.

Thanks, will get some. Let's just hope the sun keeps shining then!

BOGOF at boots atm Piz Buin and Soltan Once (NB it's soltan once not 12 hour)

Thanks Soupy! So do you only have to apply them once a day then? (Sorry for the questions, I am in Holland - would LOVE to pop down to Boots to stock up!) My sis is coming over this weekend so I can ask her to pick some up at airport. Which one's the best/keeps you protected for longer after one application, would you say?

I use the Piz Buin 10hour cream on dh, ds & dd, and so far this summer none of them have caught too much sun. They are tanning veeerrrryyy slowly. It's nicely non-greasy.

The only place I've found that stocks it, though, has been Waitrose.

We have been using Piz Buin All Day for the kids this year. We have had a two week holiday in Greece and they haven't burnt at all. We live by the sea and regularly swim after school, I haven't reapplied after putting the cream on at 8.00am and they have been fine. It says that it's good for 10 hours on the pack.

They are both fair skinned and we use the factor 30 one. I picked up loads yesterday, B1G1Free at boots.

Used the Piz buin one last year in Cyrus, and was v happy with it. Have just stoked up on more as BOGOF in Boots. Have got the boots one for the children, and put it on them before school and then when they come out. I think it works well and like to know covered for 6 hours.

As an aside, have trained sons to apply sun cream to my back (6 & 3)
