Still debating. For my 3 year old daughter. Would it stand the test of time until at least mid-teens?

IMO no it won't last to mid teens, it's not sturdy enough for that long. Also the mattresses are a slightly different size so when you replace the mattress which you'll have to at least 2-3 times then you'll have to buy ikea mattresses every time.
