just sold my beautiful jane slalom as its just too big to use on public transport.

so now need a new pushchair, must lie flat, be able to take a buggy board and suitable size to use on the bus.

what's the shortlist?

A maclaren techno

M&P Pliko gets my vote.

graco citilite is the one for you! even has a carrying handle so you can carry it on public transport

I used to have a pliko for dd1, loved it.

will a buggy board fit tho?

I would always go with maclaren - they can take buggy boards. but do you know you have to take the buggy board off all of these to fold them up?

alicemama · 03/07/2006 12:58

Yes i know but need one otherwise we'd be late for nursery everyday!

Another fan of the maclaren techno xp.

tassis · 03/07/2006 16:02

does the pliko not have a built in buggy board bit?

Another vote for maclaren techno XT. It's fab. Whenever anyone else has a push of it they go "my god it's so light!" compared to their hulking travel system or whatever - yet DS is so comfortable in it, can lie flat and be totally cosy, rain and windproofed. Brilliant for bus and folds up very handily.

Its definately do-able - I did it with ds1 and 2 - on the upside, you'll get a great workout and should have beautifully toned arms!

Plikos do take a buggy board - personally think kids look much more comfortable in them than the Techno. And if baby is tiny, you can get a carry cot for it which is great.
