Having been on the hunt for a new pushchair/travelsystem, dh and I have found one that we like on the Twoleftfeet website. Has anybody used this website? are they a good website? anybody had a bad run in with them that I should know about before ordering from them?
Would ideally like to go somewhere local to buy new pushchair but nobody in our local area stocks this one, typical.
Also does anybody know if all pushchairs/travelsystems bought nowadays only have a 6 month guarantee? Or does it depend on where you shop?

Do you have the link? Do you know if the TwoLeftFeets place of business is in Bedford? if so the people that run it live down my road!!!!

I got my travel system from a place in Peterborough - they have a good website here that I ordered from. They were very good and would highly recommend them, travel system arrived in 2 days or they will store it for you! That was nearly 2 years ago though

I know other people seem to have had some bad experiences with Two Left Feet but we ordered our Tripp Trapp highchair from their last year and had no problems at all. It came when it was supposed to and cost less than most other places - so our experience was good.

I can't remember what I ordered off them now (I think it was our stairgates) but I had to phone them to ask some questions about the item and they were FANTASTIC on the phone - really friendly and helpful. Such a nice change from some of the bigger chains' customer services!

I would use them again.

If it is the Bedford 'Two Left Feet' then it does have quite a good reputation around here.

I've not personally bought from there but my friend has (in store) and she said they were fantastic, loads of help and spent ages asking her questions to make sure she got the 'right' pram.

Agree with Bloss - they took payment and then it took AGES for our Volo to arrive. "Which" took them off their accreditation scheme. Wouldn't go near them again.

Which travel system is that you are buying?

We bought a Jane travel system from them 2 years ago. They are in Bedford which is about an hour away from us, so I arranged to buy over the phone, but to go and collect the car seat as I wanted them to show me how to fit it. It took ages for them to get it in stock and they were hopeless at phoning me back - I had to keep ringing them and being put on hold etc. When I eventually went to pick it up, there was no one there who knew how to fit it (in spite of arranging it) and the staff member who did it was just trying to work it out from the instructions, which I could have done myself. So they weren't awful but they also weren't much good!

here is the other thread

You could ask Bedford Trading Standards how many complaints they've had about them - Tel 01234 228280 / Email [email protected]

I was just going to say same as bloss - there was a thread about this a while ago on which lots of people were not happy with them.

It's a 2004 Graco Quattro Tour Travel system.

There are only 2 shops in my small city and neither of them sell Graco products. We've seen a Graco Quattro demonstrated in Mothercare, in another city, and this one (on the website) seems to be exactly the same one but in a different colour and slightly cheaper. Have also looked at it on the Graco website but when I click on the link to find out where in my area stocks Graco products it gives me a shop in York, I'm in Scotland! Very odd.

I've read through the other thread. I'll have a think about it and check other sites and surrounding cities to see if I can track one down relatively local.

thanks for everyones help/advice.

Linnet, did you buy from Two Left Feet in the end? If so, were they OK? I am thinking of buying a Maclaren footmuff as a present for a friend and they have it on their site. So far I haven't found it anywhere else on the web (but still looking). If anyone has any more comments about Two Left Feet or knows where else I can get a Maclaren foot muff I'd be grateful.

gingernut · 29/04/2004 22:03

OK folks, I've found one here and for less than on the Two Left Feet website! Has anyone used the babys-mart website and what did you think of them? Thanks!

Clayhead · 29/04/2004 22:11

gingernut, I've used babys mart and they were great, spot on, would recommend

Linnet · 29/04/2004 23:40

Gingernut, in the end we didn't buy the travel system through their website. We actually went to another city close to ours that has a pram centre and got the exact one a lot cheaper than Twoleftfeet were selling it for so we saved some money in the end.

Was demonstrating it to my cousin tonight, had loads of fun, lol can't wait until real baby arrives to put in it instead of dd's baby Annabel doll, lol

Thanks guys!

Just as an update on Two Left Feet, we had problems with them ( poor quality of goods ) as detailed in a previous thread ( back when I was nursie ) and ended up claiming through the small claims court online.
We got our money back but it was a real struggle and the attitude of TLF was stinky!!
Glad you found the goods somewhere else!
