What do you think of it? Would you buy one again?

My w/m has just given up and repairer says it's not worth fixing (8 year old Bosch, no problems until now). Found the washerhelp website from another link on MN and he recommends a JL basic machine if you can't afford a Miele, but want more than what Hotpoint etc can offer you. So I trundled off to JL this morning to have a look at them and thought it was quite nice. Just had to measure up at home before making the final decision. Thought I'd ask you too !

Any comments appreciated.

I have had a bosch (when the fuzzy logic first came out about 10 years ago) . Now I have a hotpoint and think it is the better machine

I've just bought the basic John Lewis Machine on the recommendation of that website, our Bosching machine just died after 8 years too! We've had it since Saturday, not long I know, but so far we love it!! I've never been quite so excited by a washing machine before. It's quiet, the programmes don't take long and its very efficient. So far so good!

Great! Thanks for the comments. It seemed very quiet in the shop too, but didn't know if that stood up in the home on floorboards! Thanks again.
