Can anyone recommend a pedometer?
I fancy getting one but I heard that some can be very inaccurate

If you buy two packs of Kellogs Fruit and Fibre you can send away for one free.
They also sell decent ones in M&S. Ours worked fine until the baby put it in the bath.
It also counted calories.

I got mine from a camping/outdoors shop for around £12. It's called a Silva, and has been fine. You need to program it for your stride length, but it's not complicated - and you could even do as I did, and solicit help from the shop staff. Also, you'll have to experiment with where exactly to clip it. For me, does better on waistband between hipbone and navel, but closer to navel.
