A lightweight one for quick walks eg. walking the dog, so i don't have to drag the pushchair out all the time.

Mothercare do some for about £30 with a monkey on them (I think) - fold up really small and are v. light. Don't know what they'd be like over footpaths etc. though. Have you tried a rucksack for DS? Might be a good solution? We have a Littlelife one, it's fantastic and v. comfortable - DS has even slept in it sometimes...

lewsmummy- know what you mean about carrying- my little girl is also 5 months and I leave the backpack option to my partner! We had a chicco one for my firstborn which I think costs £40 and comes with sun canopy and raincover- basic but did the trick.

Hiya, I have the Mothercare Monkey one which I bought at Easter for going on holiday. It is just sat in the cupboard. If you are local you can have it. I have no further use for it. xx
