dh has the motorola sliver, what do you want to know

What are the bad points, battery life, any occasions of it cutting out, his present phone cuts out in the middle of important business calls so he is going to demand another model from work and likes these 2. He uses it loads and has hundreds of numbers of employees and clients to store.

I have the N80, and so far am not too impressed...
the battery life is not great, and my calls often cut out....
I have a mac so cant use all the extra features, but they look great......
good camera (3 megapixels)

I just usually stick to Nokia because I like their interface....

hope this helps?

i have the razer which is like the sliver and I hate it!! even though it is pink

battery life is ok and as far as i know its never cut out. There are other phones which are smaller and dh does get frustrated as he hasn't figured out the keypad thing so on occasion when his phone was in his pocket and he was driving the house phone would go and he didn't realise it was his arse pressing the buttons!! personnally i like the flip phones and the motorola pebble looks good, the sliver does take good video capture (dh took some of dh when she was about 5mths and its great quality)

Thanks I will pass that onto to him, I just need a phone that rings . He wants all the fancy bits. He phoned me yesterday with video link thing argh not what you want when you are having a fly visit to pizza hut with the kids when he is working . So instead of looking at me he got a nice close up of the chocolate cake thanks to DD.

I have the sliver and find it brill..dh also has it..It's battrey life is brill and I can go a few days without charging it. BUT beware as all mobiles can be prone to having problems. One phone you use may be 100% but someone may have problems from day 1 iykwim. The phone he has at the mo may just be a "bad apple".

What's he got at the mo..? Reason I ask is because changing from one manufacturer to another can be hard. ie different menus and set ups etc.
I have always had nokias so going to motorola was hard. The sliver took me around 1-2 weeks to get used to but now I can use it with my eyes closed..! (SUPPOSE THATS LIKE ALL NEW THINGS.) Apparently sony erricson are similar menus etc to nokia.
DH also found the change hard when he moved to motorola and he'd just had the samsung d5.

Good luck with his choice.

I couldn't honestly tell you what he has at the moment. Apparently he is not the only one having problems with this model, they all want to go back to Nokias. Especially the technophobes who only just got the hang of the last ones.

DH still doesn't get the fact that I don't feel the need to have a mobile glued to me all day everyday. He uses it constantly texting, phoning sending pics of sites to compare notes on etc.
