The vertbaudet dressing table - is it any good?

My dd wants a dressing table for her 7th birthday! The one in the vertbaudet catalogue looks sweet - has anyone seen one in real life? Should I get it for her?

The alternative is to get a more grown up one with a seperate mirror affair on top which can perhaps chane into a desk when she is older...but then again this would cost a fair bit more...
Does anyone have any advice for me?
