Anyone had problems with Amazon?

I don't know who else to ask am at my wits end!
A weeks ago I ordered 2 books and a gift voucher for my friends birthday which was on tuesday. The books turned up fine, the next day, but by monday the voucher hadn't turned up, I checked the 'where's my stuff ' section and it hadn't been sent. I e-mailed them to ask why it hadn't been sent. By yesterday I still had no response to my e-mail, I checked the 'where's my stuff' section again and it is no longer showing the order for the voucher at all, just the two books! I have e-mailed again - but no response. I cannot find a telephone number anywhere to call them.
I still have their e-mail confirming the order for the gift voucher, but that's it. Can anyone advise me what to do?

do they do physical vouchers now then? I thought they were email only.

they've always been good when I've had a problem, but they are cagey about the phone No. was the voucher refunded? if so why don't you just place the order again?

Are you in the UK or Ireland - if you click on contact us at the bottom of the home page on the rhs of the screen there's something which says contact customer service by phone - you email your number and they'll phone you back.

Have you tried that?

Have never done it myself, as Amazon have always been fine with me. Just thought it might be worth a go.

No voucher was not refunded - they haven't even replied to my e-mails.
I will try and find the phone number bit - thanks

Managed to get to speak to someone by emailing them my phone number!
Apparantly they cancelled my order on monday (no e-mail to tell me) becuase they have been experiencing problems for the last few weeks with payments (even though I paid for 2 books at the same time with no trouble).
They have also said they've credited my account with 3 pounds compensation (I have just checked - they haven't)
They said they have given me a full refund - so need to check with the bank now.

funnily enough DH ordered a book yesterday for his bro. (in spite of the problems i'd had) payed for express delivery, was 'in stock'. they have e-ailed this morning to say it won't arrive til 30th june.

I won't use them again. they sent me someone else's books. muggins here went out of my way to get intouch with them (not easy). Eventually agreed I'd return them & they'd refund postage. much hassle & cost posting back. They never refunded my money then computer crashed so lost all details & they conveniently couldn't find record & denied all knowledge. Dunno how much time & money those gits cost me
