How long do unopened packets of wipes last?

My mam wants to buy them in bulk (special offer in ASDA) for my sister and SIL who are both due in December. But she isn't sure if they have a shelf life.

they last forever.

they do have best before dates on them but I'm sure its for a few years rather than a few weeks/months

Store them upside down and then when you start the pack the top ones will be as wet as the bottom ones usually are when you get to that, but it just happens gradually instead now.

You can also add a bit of water to it, so I agree with misdee.
