I'm thinking about this as a christmas present. one for my 11 year old ds and one for my 16 year old dd. I have a kobo full size myself and its great. Particularly for traveling - my dd goes to boarding school during the week so an e reader seems like a good idea but is this the one?

Any opinions would be great thanks.

If it's to be used solely for reading it's perfect, love mine. You can surf online, but I've found that to be quite frustrating to do (v slow even though our wifi signal is strong/fine with all our other hand held gadgets).

yep, would be used solely for reading. The e ink are great for reading but not surfing.

Then if go for it. Great price, and really easy to carry around. Although small in size, it's great for reading.
