Sister in the Far east taking orders for me ot choose a "designer bag"/accessories.

have scoured sites, what type shall I go for?

I LOVE LV and wish I could afford to buy one, I don't think they are common at all. Very classy IMO.

Agree about Burberry though.

Have a Gucci, 2 LK Bennet ones (not strictly designer but expensive), 2 Mulberry ones, a LV Bag (soon to be Northerners!!), a LV Purse and 2 Mulberry Purses - and I use my nice big £10 in the sale GAP cordroy bag most of all and it is the best thing ever!! (Oh and these were all presents I would never spend such a rideculous amount of money on something like that - thats men for ya though !!)

Anya Hindmarch, Northerner. I have one (35th b'day present from dh, he's getting good) with ds and me underwater in our swimming lesson. I love it.

NorthenerWilbur - Is she the one that makes bags with messages in as well? ie, dh would write something loving (ha) and they then print it off onto the lining so everytime you use the bag you see it.

Gap have some lovely pastel bags in at the mo. God I need to get a grip about bags FFS! Lunchtime now as well, danger danger high voltage.

Don't know about that oliveoil - mine just has a lining that says Anya H on it. A couple of other companies do them now, and perhaps they do printing on the lining too.
