Making party invitations on computer?

Does anyone know how to make party invites on the computer?

I can't find any I like so have been hand doing them all and at this rate they will all be out about three weeks after the party!!

I'm sure there must be a reasonably simple way of doing these on the computer, but how? I just want a simple design that I can put al the neccesary info on that pref has a teddy on it.

well i just take a picture from clip art and then move my writing over to one corner of the screen, rather than in the middle, print off, then fold paper in half, then half again.

if you have microsoft publisher... tehre's an invitations wizard you can use.... very simple to use!

I make them in MS Publisher to fit 4 per A4 sheet and then buy sheets of postcards that go in the printer.

Don't seem to have publisher, does that make them look a bit more professional?

The ones I've just made using clip art etc look crap!

Am having a bad night anyway and the kitchen is a s**t-tip and dp is watching tv! ARGHHHH! We are going away thursday and so far dp has done sweet f all and I feel like I have a million and twelve things to do before then.

I wouldn't mind if I didn't have much to do but have all the business to sort out so that we can be away for 5 days too without homing home to a nightmare! And I was hoping that the house might be livable in when we get back but not at this rate!

I made DS (4) in April

I just used Word (I dont care )

I typed in message and then I just added a jpg of DS and printed them off in black & white

I then stuck it on silver for boys invites & pink for girls. Did the usual dotted line & people sent back the part in response. Cheap and unique

neena28... if you cat me and give me details of party i could make a couple for you and send you them as a pdf and then you could print them off...
