Double Buggy for Smaller Car?

I'm looking for a double buggy that will fit in the boot of a small car, specifically my old VW Polo. Tried several, and none of them quite fit, even with the parcel shelf taken out. Starting to worry!
DS1 is 19 months, and DS2 is 2 weeks.
Anyone got any ideas?

Have you tried a Maclaren?

i had a mothercare polka twin which fitted in my yaris; wasn't a great buggy TBH but fine for car journeys etc.

I have a Mothercare Polka Twin. Do you want me to measure it up folded so you can see if one of these would fit?

what about the marco sky or mothercare hoxton tandem - I belive they are both umbrella fold so should fold smaller?

I have a combi we2 double pushchair (available from John Lewis and others), which folds two ways into the smallest pushchair I was able to find for my twins and the only one to fit into my minute Nissan Micra boot.
