anyone bought a sofa from argos? are they any good?

i have to admit it - i hate my expensive retro-looking leather sofas. they're uncomfortable and have no give in them. i want to slob out on a huge comfy monster of a sofa without sliding off or sticking to it (yuk) so i'm going to sell the ones i've got and have spotted the nicest ones i've seen in argos! anyone bought one from there? are they ok - quality-wise?

We got a sofa and armchair from Argos about 4 years ago, it's had a lot of use and it's still fine. Stained, but we have three kids so that's to be expected really! It's a real snuggle-up sofa, the nicest we've had.

We have a very luxurious & HUUUUGE sofa from DFS, its cream with 5 BIG cousions for the back 3 cream & 2 fluffy brown ones, it is the most comfy sofa we have brought BUT we have had it 2 years & it is not hard wearing at all we already need to buy a new one, the chair is complete crap & has torn at the seasm but the 4 seater is ok probably get another year out of it.

we have two sofas that are the same as sold in dfs although we got them in some place that went out of business but they are brilliant..7 years old and still as good as new though the covers are now a bit marked from teenagers and baby but lots of people have slept on them, spilt wine on them and generally abused them and they are as strong as ever

MFI sells a small selection of Sofa Workshop sofas, the variety of models and, particularly, fabrics that they offer in their branded shops is incredible (and so the prices for that matter!)

We looked at Argos but ended up ordering from MFI, they had really good prices and a fab range, much better than DFS and I didn;t like the fact that you couldn't sit on the Argos ones.

My auntie has had argos sofas forever and hers have lasted well.

We have Argos sofas I think. I got them from a place that sold Argos sofas that couldn't be delivered. They were really really cheap, and we've had them for 3 years now, I think, and they're fine. A bit worn, but what do you expect after 3 years? I think they were £80 each or something.
