Isofix - Nissan Micra

Hullo,

Anyone using a Britax Isofix Cosy Tot in a Nissan Micra new model (reg 53 5 door SE manual)?

The car has isofix fittings, but the Britax website is very contradictory about whether it is compatible (apparently and extra 'front leg' means that it doesn't for all isofix cars). It is £55 cheaper on Kiddicare - rather than a 'proper shop' where they fit it for you. Would be helpful if someone could confirm that it would fit!

It is wildly expensive compared to the alternatives... however I feel I have to go for it, because the safety ratings are so good. I'm feeling definite guilts because I just found a \link{http://www.rte.ie/news/features/roadsafety/publications/Which2005ChildCarSeats.pdf\Which? report} which condemns two out of the three car seats that my Dd has used - including her current one!

we've been trying in m/care, etc, with the intention to buy on kiddicare too! unfortunately, still no luck finding a single stage 1 seat for the back of a 3 door v reg micra. apparently nissan do their own range of car seats so i think they just design the micras to be awkward for anything else. :(
