Kindle Paperwhite

I've just bought myself a kindle paperwhite as an upgrade to my kindle keyboard. I love it, but I'm finding that I'm getting a headache when reading it. I think I've got the light settings wrong but I'm not sure what is best. Can anyone recommend rough settings? For example in a normal room in daytime should I have the backlight on at all?

I adjust the light settings depending on the light in the room so in a dark room you turn the light down and in a bright one you turn it up.

I always have mine on the dimmest setting which seems bright enough to me. Reading too much on the ipad gives me terrible headaches, but I've never had a problem with my paperwhite.
